Dosage
The drug is taken by mouth and can be consumed with or without food. You can chew, crush or bite the medication.
It is possible to mix the drug with food too. The dosage is usually determined by your weight and severity of condition. For pinworm infections, the drug must only be consumed once. For common worm infections, Vermox can be consumed for three consecutive days. The drug must be taken twice a day on all three days, preferably in the morning and evening. If you are taking the drug for worm infections that have affected a part of your body other than the intestines, you might have to take the drug for a few weeks.
This medication should be taken regularly in order to benefit the most from it. Do not skip or miss your doses.
